Spring Clean Up celebrations

The City of Staples held a picnic at Pinve Grove Park to honor people who participated in the Spring Clean Up initiatives this spring. Staples Economic Development Director Melissa Radermacher said the various programs had a total 102 participants. The breakdown was 30 kids and 72 adults. “I am really happy with this turnout and look forward to next year,” said Radermacher.

There are still more opportunities to get involved in, such as the Paint the Town group that has selected four homes in Staples to paint.

A paint volunteer meeting will be held Wednesday, June 22 at 5 p.m. at Staples City Hall. RSVP to the meeting by Monday, June 20, by contacting Radermacher at 218-296-2254 or email mradermacher@ci.staples.mn.us.
