Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. the Todd County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the Commissioner’s Meeting Room, 215 1st Ave. South, Long Prairie, to consider the following applications:
1) Tom and Kathleen Detloff: Part of SW4 of NW4 and part of NW4 of SW4 Section 29 of Burnhamville Township

NOTICE
of Application
for Livestock Feedlot Permit
Notice is hereby given per Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 116, that (J & B Feedlot) has made application to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency or the County of Cass for a permit to construct or expand a feedlot with a capacity of 500 animal units or more.
The existing and/or proposed feedlot will be located in the (SW 1/4 of Section 18, T-133N, R-30W, Sylvan Township; and SE 1/4 of Section 13, T-133N, R-31W, May Township), Minnesota. The existing facility consists of (1,839 head of slaughter steer animals- 1,839 AU, 3 open barns, 17.8 acres of open lots divided into 14 pens, a 67’ x 274’ feed storage pad and an 86’ x 235’ feed storage pad). The proposed facility consists of (4,054 head of Feeder Cattle (stocker or backgrounding) 2,838 AU with the same barns and open lots as noted above. The open lots will have runoff controls installed and the runoff will be irrigated onto adjacent cropland). The total animal unit capacity will be (2,838 animal units).
This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each owner of rent property within 5,000 feet of the perimeter of the proposed feedlot as required by Minnesota Law.
