It is Ordered and Notice is given that on May 23, 2022 via ZOOM at 10:00 a.m. a hearing will be held in this Court at the Todd County Courthouse, 221 1st Ave. South, Long Prairie, Minnesota 56347, for the adjudication of intestacy and determination of heirs of the decedent, and for the appointment of Jeanne K. WADENA COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT APPEARL FOR A VARIANCE
Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, the 19th day of May, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., the Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on the application of Jeffrey and Melissa Fink, for a variance on the following described parcel: South Half (S 1/2) Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4 NE 1/4), in Section 36, T-134-N, R-33-W, Thomastown Township, located in an A-1 Transitional Agriculture District.
Application, if approved, would allow a garage addition that would be less than the required 30 feet from a side property line.
All persons interested are invited to attend said hearing and be heard on this matter. PUBLIC HEARING MAY 10, 2022
WELLHEAD PROTECTION PLAN
The City of Staples is providing notice that a public hearing will be held on May 10, 2022, to review the draft Part 2 Wellhead Protection Plan. This public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall (122 6th Street NE) as part of the regular City Council meeting.
The Wellhead Protection Plan is designed to continue our efforts to prevent human-caused contamination from entering the public water supply wells. The plan identifies the area of the groundwater aquifer that supplies water to our wells over a 10-year period. Based on the level of vulnerability of the aquifer within this area, potential sources of contamination were identified and a management plan was created for this area.
