STAPLES TOWNSHIP
REQUEST FOR QUOTES
FOR BLADING AND SNOWPLOWING
Staples Township is requesting quotes for blading and snowplowing approximately 34 miles of township roads for one (1) year beginning November 1, 2026 continuing through October 31, 2027. Snowplowing shall be done when there are two plus (2+) inches of snow accumulation. Salt/sanding shall be done as needed. Staples Township should receive first service.
Blading shall be done every two to three (2 - 3) weeks.
Contractor must carry commercial liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence; general aggregate of $2,000,000 and workers compensation insurance. A Certificate of Liability Insurance must be provided to the Township before any services are provided.

The meeting was called to order by Chair Wright at 6:00 p.m.
Roll Call was taken; members Wright, Frisk, Freeman, Reeck and Reese were present, comprising a quorum. Member Trout was absent. Also present were Superintendent Tappe, Business Manager Hill, Principal Ferdon, Recording Clerk Larson, Staples World Publisher Anderson, staff and community members. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Notice is hereby given, that Staples-Motley Independent School District No. 2170, Staples, MN, will receive sealed bids for Milk and Related Dairy Products for the 2026-2027 school year according to the specification and conditions which may be obtained from the office of the Superintendent of Schools, Staples-Motley Schools, ISD No. 2170, 905 4th Street NE, Staples, Minnesota.
