SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS AND SOLAR STRUCTURES

 

AN ORDINANCE to make solar energy systems and solar structures an accessory use, establish definitions, set standards, establish safety requirements and set a process for permits.

The entire ordinance is available for review on the City’s website at Staples.govoffice.com or at City Hall during regular business hours.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Staples will hold a public hearing at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the Staples City Hall, 122 6th St NE, to consider the application for a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) at 219 6th St SE to build and operate a car wash in a commercial zone.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 

AMENDMENT TO COMPRENSIVE PLAN

FOR ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT

 

The City of Staples Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on June 3 at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall, 122 6th St NE to present and accept comments on the energy and environment addendum to the Staples Comprehensive Plan intended to support the Staples community energy resilience and environmental conditions, challenges and concerns. The proposed addendum also charts a plan of action. A copy of the draft is available at City Hall, 122 6th St NE or at www.staples.govoffice.com.

All interested parties are encouraged to attend the public hearing and provide comments. If you are unable to attend, provide comments to darcher@ci.staples.mn.us.

Central Lakes College is requesting proposals from qualified organizations to provide Mental Health Services for Central Lakes College.
