NOTICE is hereby given that the Staples City Council gave an ordinance its first reading empowering the City to sell the following City-owned real estate located in the City of Staples, County of Todd, State of Minnesota:

BULLARD TOWNSHIP BOARD OF REVIEW – EQUALIZATION

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Review - Equalization of the Township of Bullard of Wadena County, Minnesota, will meet at the Bullard Township Hall in Section 27 of Bullard Township at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor.  

If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you disagree with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board will review your assessments and may make corrections as needed. Generally, you must appeal to the local board before appealing to the county board of appeal and equalization.

Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Villard Township, County of Todd, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. In case of inclement weather, the meeting my be postponed until March 20, 2018.

The annual meeting will be held at the Eastwood Inn in Motley in the conference room and will commence immediately following the Villard Township March regular meeting to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.

The Villard Township March regular meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Eastwood Inn.

ELECTION AND ANNUAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given to the residents of Fawn Lake Township, County of Todd, that the annual election of township officers and annual town meeting will be held at the town hall on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.

Election poll hours will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Offices to be voted on are: one (1) Supervisor, for a three (3) year term, and one (1) Clerk for a two (2) year term.

The Board of Canvass will be held at 8 p.m.

The annual meeting  will immediately follow the Board of Canvass.

MOTLEY township ANNUAL ELECTION AND MEETING

The Annual Election of Officers will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.  The polls will be open from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Motley Township Town Hall. Positions to be filled are as follows: one Supervisor for a 3-year term, one Clerk for a 2-year term.

Absentee ballots are available by appointment at the home of the Clerk, 218-352-6564.
