It is Ordered and Notice is given that on June 26, 2023 at 10:15 a.m. a hearing will be held in this Court at Todd County Courthouse, Long Prairie, Minnesota, on a petition for the formal probate of an instrument purporting to be the Decedent’s Will dated May 7, 2008, and for the appointment of Joel Rengel, whose address is 18508 100th Avenue North, Maple Grove, Minnesota 55311 as personal representative of the Decedent’s estate in an unsupervised administration. 

This Hearing will be held:

Any objections to the petition must be raised at the hearing or filed with the Court prior to the hearing. If the petition is proper and no objections are filed or raised, the personal representative will be appointed with the full power to administer the Decedent’s estate, including the power to collect all assets; pay all legal debts, claims, taxe , and expenses; sell real and personal property; and do all necessary acts for the Decedent’s estate.

Notice is further given that, subject to Minn. Stat.   524.3-801, all creditors having claims against the Decedent’s estate are required to present the claims to the personal representative or to the Court within four (4) months after the date of this notice or the claims will be barred.

Sealed bids for the 2023-2024 school year for Milk and related Dairy products will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on June 15, 2023, in the district office of Independent School District #2170 located at 905 4th ST NE Staples, MN  56479 at which time bids will be opened in said office.

Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes with “Bid for Dairy Products” clearly marked in the lower left-hand corner of the envelope. Bids should be sent to Independent School District #2170, District Office, 905 NE Fourth ST, Staples, MN 56479.

BID REQUEST

 

Villard Township will be accepting quotes for blowing, sealing, patching all existing cracks (including edge cracks) on approximately 6,200 feet of township roads. 

We are asking for a quote using MN/DOT Spec. #3723 rubberized asphalt. Cracks will need to be routed 3/4 inch in width and 3/4 in depth. 

All quotes must include equipment, labor, and materials. Work is to begin as soon as weather permits. The Villard Town Board requests that all work be done by October 1, 2023. The Board would recommend filling while the cracks are open.

All quotes must be brought to the Town Hall on June 13, 2023, no later than 7 p.m.  or mailed to the Town Clerk to be received no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.  Quotes can be faxed to 218-352-6736 by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.  The Villard Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all quotes in the best interest of the township.

DITCH MOWING BID

The Town of Villard, Todd County, MN is now accepting quotes for ditch mowing. The ditch mowing will take place once before July 1, 2023, and once before August 31, 2023. Any other time will be as needed and instructed by the Town Board.

This contract will be for one season of 2023 and is to mow approximately 38 miles of Township ditch in Villard Township. One swath of 6 feet on both sides of the road is recommended.

Notice is hereby given that a Special General Election will be held in Commissioner District 3 of Todd County on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 for the purpose of electing a candidate for the office listed below. Alternatively, in the event that two or fewer candidates file for the open seat, a Special General Election shall be held in Commissioner District 3 on August 8, 2023.

Commissioner District 3 includes the municipalities of Long Prairie City, Long Prairie Township and Reynolds Township to which the candidate must maintain residence therein.

The filing period for these offices begins at 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2023, and ends at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
