MINUTES
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order with Winkels, Freeman, B. Anderson, L. Anderson, Reeck and Lund attending (comprising a quorum). Also attending: Supt. Tappe; Director of Finance Regan; Principal Johnson and Interim Principal Ferdon; additional employees and community members; ICS Consultants Jordan Pangrac and Damien Williams, Staples World Managing Editor, Anderson and Recording Secretary Walz. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

School/Community Forum
Dave Hoemberg shared some of the history behind the consolidation agreement and the reason why our district has a four-digit district number instead of a three-digit number.

MINUTES
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order with Winkels, B. Anderson, L. Anderson, Lund and Reeck present (comprising a quorum). Freeman was absent. Also attending: Supt. Tappe; Director of Finance, Regan; Principal Johnson; several members of the public and Recording Secretary Walz.

Ehlers Financial Advisor
Jodi from Ehlers shared that the district’s operating levy is up for renewal for taxes payable in 2024. The district may run an operating referendum to renew the levy during the November 2022 election, or run a special election in November 2023. Updated numbers will be available this July and the board will discuss during the August Work Session.
Board Self Evaluation
Board Chair Winkels guided the school board through the self evaluation process using the MSBA Standards for School Board Leadership as his guide. Board members and the public contributed to areas of strength and areas for growth. The board will align its goals from this self evaluation with the goals in the superintendent’s evaluation and the Continuous Improvement Plan.
