Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. the Todd County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the Commissioners Meeting Room, 215 First Ave. South, Long Prairie to consider the following applications.
1) Benjamin Yoder: Part of W2 SW4 of Section 31 in Bartlett Township

Requesting CUP to operate a sawmill business with existing buildings in an AF-1 zoning district.

Requesting CUP to establish a seasonal greenhouse that will exceed the standards of a home based business in an AF-2 zoning district. To reconsider this CUP, remanded back to the Commission to develop for and against findings related to the CUP request.
3) Land Use Ordinance Proposed Changes:
An application request to add to the Todd County Land Use Ordinance, Section 7.11 Agriculture Use Standards, was received from Latimer Lake Association with support letters from Osakis Lake Association, Lake Beauty Association, Big Swan Lake Association and Big Swan Lake Improvement District.
The proposed addition would restrict livestock access on those lakes with DNR public boat landings in an effort to reduce shoreline bank erosion, reduce nutrients to the lake, and reduce direct deposition of animal waste into these waters - adding e-coli.
The proposal will be presented and discussed with opportunity for public input. The proposed changes are available for review on the Todd County website.
All persons interested are invited to attend said hearing and be heard on these matters.

NOTICE
THOMASTOWN ELECTION AND ANNUAL MEETING
The polls will be open from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 for the township election of one supervisor and the clerk’s position at the Thomastown Town Hall. The annual meeting of the township will be held following the canvassing of the election at 8:10 p.m.
The election and annual meeting will be held on March 20 at the same times if there is bad weather on March 13.

STAPLES TOWNSHIP ELECTION AND ANNUAL MEETING
The Staples Township Election and Annual Meeting will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the Staples Town Hall.
The Polling Hours are 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Positions to be filled are: One (1) supervisor, three (3) year term; One (1) Clerk, two (2) year term.
Board of Canvass will follow the election with the annual meeting immediately after that.
In case of inclement weather, the election and annual meeting will be held one week later on Tuesday, March 20, 2018.

Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Moran Township, County of Todd, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the town hall.
The election poll hours will be open from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at whch time the voters will elect: One (1) Supervisor for a three (3) year term; One (1) Clerk for a two (2) year term.
