SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE

 

This is a summary of ordinance number 211 passed by the City of Motley on the 14th day of April, 2025. The full text of the ordinance is available for review and inspection at the Motley City Offices during regular business hours.

ENACTING A CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE CITY OF MOTLEY, MN, REVISING, AMENDING, REINSTATING, CODIFYING AND COMPILING CERTAIN EXISTING GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE POLITICAL SUBDIVISION DEALING WITH SUBJECTS EMBRACED IN SUCH CODE OF ORDINANCES, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

Fawn Lake Township will hold its Annual Road Tour on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 9 a.m.

MORAN TOWNSHIP ROAD INSPECTION

 

Moran Township will hold their road inspection tour on Saturday, May 3, 2025 starting at 7:00 a.m.

The Moran Township Board will be leaving from the town hall to drive the township roads about that time. Residents are welcome to follow in your own vehicle.

Thomastown Township is seeking bids for 4-5 miles Class #1, spread and packed, 1,000 yds./mile. Must meet Wadena County test specifications for Class #1. 

Deadline for completion: August 15, 2025. Watering of roadbed required in event of drought.

Call to Order

The meeting was called to order by Chair Freeman at 6:00 p.m.

Roll Call was taken, members Frisk, Reeck, Reese, Trout and Freeman were present, comprising a quorum. Member Wright was absent. Also present were Superintendent Tappe, Business Manager Hill, Recording Clerk Larson, Principal Ferdon, Principal Koenigs, AD Lee, Staples World Managing Editor Anderson, SMEA president Kneisl and other staff members. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Motion by Frisk, second by Reeck to adopt the agenda. MC

Chair Freeman welcomed the public in attendance.
