Physics class includes robotics unit
The Staples Motley High School physics class included a robotics unit, where students built competition robots in less than two weeks. Students designed, built the shells, added wheels and did the wiring for all the moving parts of their own robots. Above, Amy Lochli and Patrick Thompson ready their robot for competition. Students competed in a timed obstacle course where the robot placed a ball in a tray. Instructor Clay Houselog said there’s a lot of problem solving involved in making each design work.
