My wife and I were visiting in the Staples area and had an opportunity to attend “A Cardinal Christmas” presented by the Staples-Motley High School Music Department on Dec. 19. We were greatly impressed with the musical quality of the various musical groups.
In addition we were very appreciative of the content of the music presented. It was so good to hear a Christmas presentation in which all of the pieces of the program actually reflected the message of Christmas and were not altered by forces to produce a “politically correct” program.
We understand that such Christmas programs are a long standing tradition of your school. We thoroughly enjoyed it and applaud you for what you are doing.
