Obituary Form

Obituaries are charged per column inch ($10.25 rate; by the inch) plus $5 per photo

An obituary usually costs $75 - $175.

All obituary submissions must be paid for before it will run in the newspaper.

Obituaries preferably may be directly emailed to jwinter@staplesworld.com, instead of an online submission.

We will email back a proof with the cost. All obituaries must be paid for before it will run in the newspaper.

Deadline is noon on Friday for the following week (Wednesday publication) although date of services will be considered and printed in a timely matter if at all possible (the Staples World prints on Monday by noon)

Photos may be included and should be sent in a jpg format at a minimum of 225 dpi resolution. Black and white or color photos can be used, providing the picture is of good quality and not too small.

Obituary copy will be edited for spelling.
