Vivian Youngberg

Vivian Lorraine Youngberg, age 75, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Diamond Willow assisted Living in Baxter.

Vivian was born in Albany, to Herman and Elizabeth (Baumgartner) Scheid on May 29, 1943. She married Anthony Youngberg, on October 20, 1962, and together they had three sons. Vivian loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, watching the birds and collecting dolls.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Donald (Heidi) of Wyoming, MN, Todd (Deb) of Marcell, MN and Colin of Leader; sisters, Yvonne (Gordy) Sampson of Motley, Jeannie Johannes of Leader, Joan (Ray) Daily of Verndale, Linda Johnson of Leader and Marlys (Jeff) Braith of Staples; grandchildren: Hayley, Dakota, Shawna and Austin; mother-in-law, Lorraine Youngberg of Peqout Lakes.

Vivian is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Helma McCoy and Joyce Scheid; brother, Kenny Scheid.

Funeral services for Vivian will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Motley. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Alzheimer’s research.
