Virgil Collison

Virgil Collison, 86, of Staples, passed away February 22, 2019, at the Lakewood Health System Care Center.  

Services will be held on his birthday, June 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., at Motley Free Methodist Church in Motley, with Pastor Jim Johnson officiating.

Interment will be at Poplar Cemetery. 

Virgil was born June 27, 1931 in Poplar Township to Elmer and Cora (Dague) Collison. He was a truck driver for ElRay in Motley for 40+ years. Virgil loved fishing, hunting, horses and truck driving.

Virgil is survived by three daughters, Marlene, Sue and Cindy; two sons, Curt and Albert; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Larry, Russ, Bob, Marion, Agnes and Ronnie. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; wives Virginia and Marcella; one daughter, Linda; one son, Jerry; one grandson, Laurence; two brothers Earl and John; one sister, Delphine. Virgil is missed by all of his family, friends and relatives.
