Victor Flansburg

It is with profound heartbreak that we say goodbye to our father, Victor (Vic) W. Flansburg, 97, of Motley, Minnesota.

Vic passed away peacefully in his sleep November 3, 2025 at the Veterans Home in Fergus Falls. 

He was our hero and a veteran who served in the Merchant Marines and the U.S. Navy during WW II and the Korean Conflict. 

Vic is survived by two daughters, Linda Winters and Jill Flansburg one son, Gary Flansburg; six grandchildren, Keli Romine (Andrew), Kurtis Flansburg, Cameron Winters (Rachael), Gavin Mencel, Brock Mencel and Chase Mencel; six great-grandchildren, Hunter, Jayce, Rylan, Adelyn, Bethany and Cody; three brothers, Robert (Bob) Flansburg, Lloyd (Jackie) Flansburg and Richard (Pat) Flansburg and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Vivian Dickman.
