Roger Haugen

Roger Michael Haugen, 84, passed away  October 11, 2022, at Episcopal Home in St. Paul.

It was Roger’s wish to be a body donor to the University of Minnesota Medical School. The program honoring all donors will take place on November 9, 2022, at Northrop Auditorium.

He was a loving husband, brother, cousin, brother-in-law, uncle, good friend to many, flamenco guitarist, limerick writer extraordinaire, Raptor Center volunteer and world traveler along with his wife, Joanna.

Roger loved and is survived by his wife, Joanna (nee Molldrem); their cat, Mouse; two brothers, David Haugen (Jeannie, deceased) of Anchorage, AK and Ronald Haugen (Peg) of Santa Rosa, CA; one brother-in-law, Barney (Leslie) Molldrem, of Syracuse, NY; two sisters-in-law, Vikki Molldrem (Paul O’Farrell) of Long Beach, CA and Michele (Gary) Hotko of Lake George, NY and eight well-loved nieces and nephews.

Roger grew up and graduated high school in Staples before moving to the Twin Cities.
