Richard Read

Richard P. “Dick” Read, 89, of Chisago City, formerly of Sebring, Florida passed away January 5, 2023.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Dick was born May 28, 1933 to Richard and Gladys Read in Staples. He graduated from Staples High School in 1951.  

Dick was a longtime employee of Burlington Northern Railroad. He loved hunting, fishing and summertime visits to Fish Trap Lake.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joanne; three children; three step-children and one brother, Don (Sharon) Read.

He is preceded in death by one son, Dick Read.
