Mavis Galligher

Mavis Galligher, 95, passed away on December 29, 2025, in Brainerd.

Services were held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brainerd January 6, 2026.

Mavis was born June 24, 1930, to Charles and Mabel Woodhouse. She grew up in the Pillager area. On November 1, 1952, she married Ronald Galligher. Together they raised four children, two boys and two girls. Mavis worked at Staples State Bank and Motley Bank before retiring in 1991 and moving to Brainerd.

Mavis is survived by four children, Thomas (Patricia) Galligher, Timothy (Deb Sanders) Galligher, Roxanne (Bradley) Nelson and Debra (Bryan) Silgjord; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Barbara Schrupp;.

Arrangements are with Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd.
