Mark Daniels

Mark A. Daniels, 67, of Nimrod, passed away July 23, 2022, at Lakewood Health System, Staples after a long battle with cancer.

Funeral services were held July 28 at the Nimrod Lutheran Church in Nimrod.

Interment was at the Poplar Cemetery,  Leader. 

Mark was born May 14, 1955 to Wayne and Mable (Lehner) Daniels at Wesley Hospital in Wadena. He was a 1974 graduate of Sebeka High School and a 1975 graduate of Detroit Lakes Vo-tech. He was a forklift operator for RDO in Park Rapids for many years until his health failed.

Mark enjoyed going to  auctions, collecting and restoring different toys, woodworking and making many gifts for family members. He enjoyed his time with his family, and there was a sporting event, graduation, wedding or a small family gathering at one of his siblings’ homes, he could be counted on to be at those events. Family was important to him and he will be missed.

Mark is survived by two  sisters, Rita (Duane) Swanson, Nimrod and Anita (Wayne) Wilson, Staples, two brothers, Melvin (Charlotte) Daniels, Staples and Mickey (Becky) Daniels, Oylen; nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.
