Marie Bristlin

Marie Katherine Bristlin, 78, of Staples passed away August 11, 2023. at the Lakewood Health System Care Center in Staples. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 23 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. 

Interment will be at Evergreen Green Hill Cemetery in Staples.

Marie was born March 1, 1945 to Joseph and Margaret (Kallas) and Mumm in Bertha.

She married Jackie L. Bristlin on October 22, 1966, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Marie worked as a Registered Nurse in the Metro Area for many years. Her hobbies included scrapbooking, card making and gardening.

Marie will be deeply missed by her husband, Jackie; one son, Scott; three sisters, Teresa (Walt) Peterson, Joann (Wayne) Lenk and Rose (Don) Webber; three brothers, Bernard (Gloria) Mumm, John (Darlene) Mumm and Larry Mumm; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Darren James Bristlin.

Arrangements are with the Taylor Funeral Home of Staples.
