Linda Thompson

Linda (Oldenburg) Thompson, of Eyota passed away September 10, 2017.

A private celebration of her life was held by her husband, children and grandchildren.

Linda was born in Bertha on April 23, 1951 to Keith and LaVerne Oldenburg. She attended Staples schools and graduated in 1969. She married Fred Rhodes and they had two children, Darren and Lori. Later, she married Wayne Thompson. They lived most of their life in southeast Minnesota.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne; one son, Darren; one daughter, Lori; two grandchildren, Devrie and Chayla; three sisters, Machel (Alan) Marshall of Motley, Terry (Bill) Dobson and Joanne (Jerry) Carpenter, both of Staples along with many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
