Larry Hansen

Larry Ivan Hansen, 73, of Staples, passed away peacefully February 18, 2021, surrounded by his family after a short battle with cancer. 

Funeral services will be held Feb. 26, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples. Visitation will be held Feb. 25  from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples and one hour prior to the services on Friday.

Larry was born to Ivan and Myrtle (Stowe) Hansen on September 23, 1946 in Bertha. He worked with the 49’s for a few year before beginning his own construction company. Larry worked hard, but in his free time he enjoyed dancing and watching old western movies. He loved his grandchildren and cherished his time with family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Larry is survived by one  son Kelly (Wendy) Hansen; one daughter, Karina Ramsey; one stepson, Daniel Ward; three grandchildren, Dylon Hanson, Jayden Hansen and Aundrea Hansen; two great-grandchildren, Marlee Edwards and Jacob Hanson; two brothers; three sisters and many nieces and nephews. 

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.

Arrangements are by the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples.
