Kristin Daniels

Kristin Daniels, 45, of St. Cloud, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024, surrounded by family, after a nine-year journey with cancer.

A service in memory of Kristin will be held at a later date.

Kristin was born July 5, 1979, in Clinton, Iowa and grew up in Lincoln, Minnesota. She was a bright spark and an unforgettable force in the lives she touched. For many years, Kristin shared her musical talent by playing the piano for her church and cherished spending time with her children. Recently, she found immense joy in becoming a grandmother.

Kristin enjoyed a variety of activities, including fishing, snowmobiling, four-wheeling and just being outdoors. Although she wouldn’t admit it, she would tap into her artistic side when she was bored, drawing, painting or creating something to hang on the wall. She had a deep love for dogs and was hoping to adopt a pit bull soon.

Kristin was a fighter who never gave up and never let her cancer slow her down. She lived on her own terms.

Kristin is survived by four children, Vanessa Nelson, Morgan Nelson, Makayla Nelson and Zach Nelson; one granddaughter, Mayella Turnbaugh; mother, Linda Perry; one sister, Leah Jensen; three brothers, Dan Dickinson, John Dickinson and Chris Daniels; her close friend, Ray Meek and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Daniels.

Kristin will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her spirit, persistence and love will forever remain in our hearts.
