Doris Pribbenow

Doris Lorraine Pribbenow, 88, of Staples, passed away March 12, 2022, at the Fair Oaks Lodge in Wadena. 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 17, at 11 a.m. at the Taylor Funeral Home in Staples. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Doris was born in Pillager on October 26, 1933, to Karel and Clara (Quade) Holub. She married the love of her life, George Pribbenow in Staples in 1955.

Doris taught school throughout the state, then came to Motley. She taught for a total of 43 years. Her students were her children. Doris and George did everything together including traveling, flying and fishing which were their favorite. They wintered in Arizona for 20 years. She loved raising Sheltie’s.

Doris is survived by her nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Goldie.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George.
