David Fredrick Mertens, 86, of Staples and Wadena, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held September 12 at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements are by Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples.
