Arline Sebring

Arline Mary (Vogel) Sebring of Cokato, passed away September 10, 2022, peacefully at her home.

Mass of Christian burial was held September 16 at St. Philip Catholic Church in Litchfield.

Burial was at Poplar Cemetery, near Leader on September 17.

Arline was born June 5, 1962 to Melvin and Bernadine Vogel in Staples. She grew up on the family farm. She graduated from Motley High School in 1980. She married her high school sweetheart, Michael Sebring. Michael enlisted in the Army and the couple moved with each duty station he was assigned to including Texas and Alaska. The couple had four children and with every child,  they grew deeper and deeper in love. Arline went to work in Cokato with her family and the couple set down roots. When the children were old enough, she started working outside the home at various manufacturing plants and made her way to 3M in Hutchinson where she worked for 30 years. When both of her parents passed away Arline and Michael bought half of the family farm at Leader and had plans to retire and build their forever home. They were almost finished moving and ready to start building.

Arline enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family and playing games together such as Taboo. She also enjoyed a campfire with friends and family sharing stories, music and laughing (maybe having a cocktail or two). Arline had a big heart and cared about others more than they sometimes cared about themselves.  She will be remembered for how much she cared about everything including the little things.

Arline is survived by her husband, Michael; one daughter, Amanda Sebring (Eric Brubaker); three sons, twins, Jason (Lucynda) and Jarod (Sara) Sebring and Travis Sebring (Julie Wagner) and 15 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ed Vogel and Donald Vogel; father-in-law, Gerald Sebring and Dennis Caouette.

Arrangements were by Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home of Cokato, www.swansonpeterson.com.
