Ardell Davey

Ardell D. Davey, 75, of Browerville, passed away peacefully May 15, 2026, in Browerville. 

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 30, at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Staples. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at Brennys. 

Ardell was born January 1, 1951, to Roy and Mary Davey in Barclay Township. He dedicated 32 years of employment to Long Prairie Packing Company, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dependable nature. He retired in 2007.

Ardell enjoyed spending time with family and friends, woodworking, agate hunting, writing as a published author, spending time on the computer and watching YouTube videos. 

He is survived by one son, Ryan Davey of Aldrich; two daughters, Jennifer Davey of Long Prairie and Jessica (Larry) Marion of Browerville; four grandchildren, Nickolas Davey of Osakis, Chandler Davey of Long Prairie, Brandon Marion of Browerville and Wyatt Marion of Browerville; three sisters, Suzzy Harper of New York Mills, Konnie Overy of Brainerd and Tracey Denny of Staples; along with many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, David, Clifford and Roy and two sisters, Kayann Davey and Elsie Boldra.

Arrangements are by Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples.
