Alan E. Grant, 74, of Sedona, Arizona, died peacefully at home on January 6, 2025.
Plans for a spring get-together to honor Al’s memory will be announced at a later date.
Alan was born in Staples in 1950 to Harry and Lois Grant. He was a retired railroad engineer. Beyond his work, Al was passionate about motorcylces, sailboats, skiing and rollerblading. Chewy, his small rescue canine companion loomed large in his life.
He will be remembered by one sister, Nancy Jo (Darryl) Moses; one aunt, Janet Hendrickson; one niece, Tierra Moses; his cousins; Bonnie Bray and Joe Carlson, as well as many lifelong hometown friends and workmates.
