Esther Jordahl

Esther O. Jordahl, 76, of Pillager passed away February 10, 2018 at Lakewood Care Center in Staples.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Feb. 15, at 11 a.m. at the Swan Valley Church in Leader. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

Arrangements are with Taylor Funeral Care, Staples.

Esther was born April 13, 1941 to Martin and Clara (Thorsett) Granby in Staples. She married Larie Jordahl on June 2, 1979 in Leader. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, sewing and cross stitching. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed working on family history.

Esther is survived by her husband; one son, Bryan (Becky) Johnson of Kensington; one daughter, Barbara (John) Sorenson of Pillager; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Joseph and Marvin.
