Skating fun
Ten-year-old Cole Carlson (left) and his sister Kaitlyn, five, of rural Motley, enjoyed skating at the ice rink in Motley Jan. 3. With temperatures hovering at 30 degrees, it was a perfect day for winter outdoor sports. “We’re so glad to learn about this,” their mother, Tammi Carlson, said of the ice rink. “It has a warming house and there are lights if you skate at night.” Cole and Kaitlyn said they had been having a “really fun time” during the Christmas break from school, which resumed Jan. 4.
