FOR BLADING AND SNOWPLOWING
Staples Township is requesting quotes for blading and snowplowing approximately 34 miles of township roads for one (1) year beginning November 1, 2026 continuing through October 31, 2027. Snowplowing shall be done when there are two plus (2+) inches of snow accumulation. Salt/sanding shall be done as needed. Staples Township should receive first service.
Blading shall be done every two to three (2 - 3) weeks.
Contractor must carry commercial liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence; general aggregate of $2,000,000 and workers compensation insurance. A Certificate of Liability Insurance must be provided to the Township before any services are provided.

The meeting was called to order by Chair Wright at 6:00 p.m.
Roll Call was taken; members Wright, Frisk, Freeman, Trout, Reeck and Reese were present, comprising a quorum. Also present were Superintendent Tappe, Business Manager Hill, Principal Ferdon, Principal Koenigs, Recording Clerk Larson, Staples World Publisher Anderson, staff and community members. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

NOTICE
Staples-Motley INDEPENDENT School District #2170 Summer Food Service Program (SFSP)
Staples-Motley Independent School District #2170 will be operating a summer foods program at Staples-Motley Middle/High School (401 Centennial Drive, Staples, MN 56479). Service will start June 1, 2026 and will run Monday - Friday until August 21, 2026. The exceptions to this are June 19 and July 6-10, when there will be no meal service. Breakfast will run from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. and lunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Any youth ages 18 and under are eligible to receive one meal for breakfast and one meal for lunch per day. Meals must be consumed on-site.
