Lynn and Robert Halbrook from 20th Century Magic presented a Wizard School Thursday evening as one of the Staples Public Library’s Grand Opening celebration activities. In addition to levitating a member of the audience, the show included comedy, magic and illusions with an emphasis on reading. Other activities included “Mr. Song-Strummin’ Storyman” Jack Pearson and a genealogy seminar by Stephen Barthel, a former reference consultant for the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah.
