Sept. 19 concert CANCELLED
Rosie Daze Band cancelled
The Saturday, Sept. 19, concert in Staples has been cancelled .
The Rosie Daze Band set to play on the new stage may perform at a rescheduled date.
The Rosie Daze Band plays Americana music, bluegrass and folk. Their harmonies combine with their enjoyable stage presence to give audiences a memorable musical show.
The auditorium stage was extended by taking out the orchestra pit and the wooden stage covering it. The whole structure was covered with cement to extend the towards the seating area.
The new stage is the start of a full renovation of the auditorium, which will eventually get new backdrops, lighting and sound system. The performance by the Rosie Daze Band also will feature the new sound panels at the auditorium that direct stage voices towards the audience.
The performance is being brought to Staples by a partnership between the Staples Motley Area Arts Council and the Central Lakes College Performing Arts Center’s Cultural Arts series. Tickets are also available at the CLC Performing Arts Center web site.
