Excited for Halloween

Alyson Jasmer (left), nine; and her sister Breanna, 11, have been busy helping prepare their house on 6th St. NE in Staples for Halloween, including carving several pumpkins. “We got some help from mom and dad,” the girls said, mentioning their parents, Rob and Tricia.  There are several “scary inflatables” set up in the yard, as well as a “haunted castle” that trick-or-treaters must enter in order to receive any candy. The family has had at least 400 trick-or-treaters stop by their house in past years. “It’s a lot of fun,” Breanna said. (Staples World photo by Dawn Timbs)
