Thank you to the Staples Parks and Recreation Depart. and Community Center for hosting the Bike Rodeo and meal held May 16 in Staples.
Many thanks to the Staples Lions, Staples Rotary, Staples Area Jaycees, Staples Ace Hardware and Lakewood Health Service for donating bicycles and helmets; Jake’s Bikes of Alexandria for donation of bicyles and repairing bikes on site for the children and adults who attended; and all who arranged and helped at the event.
It was a very fun evening and it was exciting to share with everyone, especially the children.
