The American Legion Auxiliary would like to thank all of the businesses of Staples, Motley and Verndale for all their donations to the Veterans Poppy cards and to everyone who donated to our Poppy Day for veterans on May 13.
Thank you also to Doreen Scott for taking over calling for poppy workers and Joan Doll for the calling for our meetings. Jan Goff had done the job for 14 years and did a great job. Thank you, Jan.
This is my 16th year. I think we’ve done a good job for all the veterans.
Thank you all for helping all the veterans.
God bless all our veterans.
Shirley Morrison
Poppy Chairperson
