Southern gospel concert at Alliance Church

The Chancellors Quartet and award-winning pianist Jeff Stice will present a Southern Gospel concert at Staples Alliance Church on Sunday, Sept. 25, at 7 p.m.

Hailing from the Twin Cities area, The Chancellors Quartet has been one of Minnesota’s premiere gospel groups since 1970. Known for their excellent four-part harmonies, the group has performed throughout the United States and Canada. Current group members include Aaron Krienke of Staples, lead vocalist; Mike McCowen, bass; Chris Fish, baritone; and Jeff Lindstrom, tenor.

Joining them on stage in Staples is Jeff Stice of Nashville. Stice has been nominated for several Dove and Grammy awards over the years; and has been named Southern Gospel Musician of the Year 11 times. He has also been inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.

Stice has played on and/or produced over 250 recordings for many artists, including eight projects with The Chancellors Quartet.
