School board special meeting and work session

The Staples-Motley School Board will meet Monday, Nov. 14, at 7:45 a.m. at the district office.
Agenda items include:
o canvassing the returnes of the Nov. 8 school board elections and authorizing certificates of election.
o personnel items including permission to post for an accounts receivable position up to half time; approve resignation of Marci Lord with new effective date and approve a contract for Patricia Vacek as the school business manager effective Nov. 21.
The board has also set a work session for 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the high school media center to review data relevant to a facility study.
