School board agenda

The Staples Motley School Board will meet Monday, Oct.. 17, at 7 p.m. at the middle school media center. 

Tentative agenda items include:

o School/community forum, if presenters contact the board chair or superintendent by noon regarding the topic.

o Finance items include levy recommendations of the finance committee, approval of a quit claim deed to City of Staples for a small parcel on the northwest side of the high school that was not included in a previous sale; approve selling by bids land that formerly was the site of the southside tennis courts.

o Personnel items include accepting resignations from Marci Lord, business manager; and Megan Martin, payroll; approve paraprofessional contracts for Jackie Tyrrell, Mandy Weishair and Matthew Holmquist; approve winter extra-curricular coaches

o Staff development reports include the curriculum council plan. 

Other items include reports from the principals, superintendent, SMEA and school board committees.
