Organizational meeting for school board set

The Staples Motley School Board will hold their annual organizational meeting Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 7 p.m. in the Staples-Motley High School media center.
Agenda items include:
o Oath of office for newly elected board members.
o Election of board chair, vice chair, clerk and treasurer.
o Appoint board members to serve on educational committees.
o Designate school attorneys, official depositories, official newspaper, investment of funds, electronic transfers and signature approvals.
o Set board meeting and work session schedule.
o Approve resolution to set school board salaries.
