Naturalization records now available online
Ancestry launched the largest and most comprehensive online collection of U.S. naturalization records ever assembled, nearly 42 million records in total, spanning more than 200 years and covering every state. This database includes 71,368 Minnesota records from 1684-1988 made available for the first time online.
In addition to discovering new documents for their ancestors, users can now find new naturalization records of famous people throughout history, like Arianna Huffington, Cary Grant, Alfred Hitchcock and Enrico Fermi.
This expansive collection helps further Ancestry’s mission of harnessing the information found in family trees, historical records, and DNA to help people gain a new level of understanding about their lives.
Interested parties can access these new records at Ancestry.com.
