Scandia Valley Fire Dept. open house Oct. 13

In recognition of Fire Prevention Week, the Scandia Valley Fire Department (SVFD) will host an open house at the fire hall Thursday, Oct. 13, from 5 - 7 p.m.

The public will have the opportunity to meet the firefighters, door prizes will be given away and snacks will be served. A number of kids’ activities will be offered as well, including a coloring contest.

The SVFD’s fire hall is located at 3518 320th St. (Cty Rd. 3) in Cushing.
