Information sought following death of Morrison County hunter
Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen is asking the public to come forward with information that may assist with their investigation into the death of a hunter. As of Nov. 14, a private party is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the identification of the person who shot and killed Terrence (Terry) Brisk.
Investigators believe that Terrence Brisk, 41, of Belle Prairie Township was shot on Monday, Nov. 7, between 2:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on wooded property northwest of the intersection of Hawthorne Rd. and Jewel Rd. in Belle Prairie Township, east of Little Falls.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office subsequently determined that Brisk died of blood loss due to a gunshot wound.
Investigators are trying to determine the circumstances of Brisk’s death, including the possibility that the individual who shot Brisk is unaware that they had done so.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office is asking nearby property owners, anyone who was hunting in the area at the time; and anyone who saw an unfamiliar person or vehicle leaving or entering the woods between 2 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. on Nov. 7, to contact the sheriff’s office at 320-632-9233.
Terrence Brisk leaves behind a wife, Pamela; and children, Johnathon, Nicholas, Frances and Michael.
