Tina Olson
Tina Marie (Goff) Olson, 48, of Savage, passed away May 5, 2021, at her home.
Memorial services will be held Sat., June 5, at 11 a.m. at the Free Methodist Church in Motley with Pastor Jim Johnson.
Tina was born February 27, 1973 to Mary Jo Goff and Michael Goff in Staples. She graduated from Staples High School in 1992. She attended Mankato Cosmetology School where she completed her degree.
Tina married Tom Olson, the love of her life, on July 16, 1994 in Staples. They made their home in Savage, where they raised their children, Riley Marie Olson and Austin Allan Delaine Olson.
Tina took great pride in her family, especially her children. She loved her two cocker spaniels, Sadie and Baily Jo. Tina enjoyed spending quality time with her family, cheering and supporting her daughter, or as she called her, “little miss,” through nursing school and praised her son’s hard work ethic in school, work and billiards. Tina had a tremendous heart and was always the first to reach out to someone in need. She was a devoted Christian and was a member of the Living Hope Lutheran Church in Shakopee.
Tina is survived by her husband, Tom; one daughter, Riley and one son, Austin; parents, Mary Jo and Michael Goff; one brother, Jessie (Carissa) Goff of Staples; father-in-law, Roger Olson of Cleveland; grandparents, William and Janis Goff of Staples; uncles and aunts, Joe (Fawn) Gage of Minnetrista, DeWayne (Rima) Bluebaugh of Mesa, AZ, Judy (Lyle) Banta of Coon Rapids, Barb (Rob) Duff of Dassel, Larry Jaques of Anoka, Mark (Julie) Goff of Staples, Pat (Bev) Goff of Brainerd and Dan (Shirley) of Lino Lakes; brothers-in-law, Scott (Tammy) Olson of Republic, MO and John (Shontel) Olson of Springfield, MO; neices and nephew, Charlotte Goff, Jessica Mueller, Kaylee Olson and Brayden Olson; Godparents, David and Nancy Marti of Alexandria and extended family.
Tina was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bernice and Don Haugen; grandfather, Joe Gage; mother-in-law, Connie Olson; two aunts, Jodie Hoemberg and Cheryl Jaques; one cousin, Melissa Jaques and one nephew, David Mueller.
