Shayna Tervonen
Shayna Jean Tervonen, 30, of Stacy, died February 27, 2024, at Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, at Chisholm Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Erickson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.
Inurnment will be in Chisholm Cemetery.
Shayna was born April 1, 1993 to David and Patricia (Hanson) Tervonen in Hibbing. She attended Victory Chistian Academy, Hibbing, Staples-Motley schools graduating from Cambridge High School. She and her parents lived in Chisholm (Balkan Township) until 2010, upon moving to Staples. She also lived in Cambridge and Stacy. Shayna enjoyed attending a vocational day program in Stacy. She looked forward to shopping, had a deep love for cats, enjoyed photo shoots, crafting, attending dances, workouts at the YMCA, dressing fashionably and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her mother, Patricia Tervonen of Columbia, S.C.; Noelle (Michael) Hudalla of Staples; Leah (Brian) Wiger of Columbia, S.C. and David (Meagan) Tervonen of Bemidji; multiple aunts, uncles and seven nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Andrew Tervonen; grandparents, Toivo and Helena Tervonen, Elmer and Myrle Hanson and Uncle Ronald Hanson.
