John Edwards

John J. (Jim) Edwards, 78, of Eden Prairie, passed away at his home on February 10, 2023.

Services will be held at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Jim was born April 10, 1944, to Jack and Marion Edwards in Norman, Oklahoma. He graduated from Staples High School in 1962. Jim served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1969. He served in Vietnam as an MR2.

While in Staples he worked for RTO, Ringer, operated The Rail restaurant, Big Jim’s Pizza and the Staples Theater before moving to Eden Prairie. 

Jim is survived by his wife, Natasha; two daughters, Brenda (Ralph) DeGross and Mary Buman; one son, John (Staci) Edwards; one brother, Thomas Edwards; one sister, Susan Edwards; seven grandsons and one granddaughter.
