Benjamin Denny

Benjamin LeRoy Denny, 80, of Staples, passed away at his home April 16, 2025, surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 25, 2025, at Brenny Funeral Home in Staples. A short viewing will take place at 10 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples.

Benjamin was born January 5, 1945, to Benjamin H. Denny and Florence (Anderson) Denny.

Benjamin was a hardworking man who enjoyed Minnesota sports, playing basketball, working on his muscle cars and spending time with family. He and Tracey were married on August 29, 1982 and together raised three children.

Benjamin is survived by his wife of 42 years, Tracey Denny; one daughter, Melissa Denny; two sons, Jason Denny and Michael Denny; four brothers, Lawrence Denny, Walter (Zela) Denny, Darrell (Jackie) Denny and Gary Denny and one sister, Laura Trana. He is also remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Gladys Anderson, Frieda Franks and Melva Ament.

Arrangements are by the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples.
