KELLY HAGENSON of Staples was named to the Spring Semester Dean’s List at Concordia University, St. Paul. To qualify, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Kelly is a senior majoring in design.

MINNESOTA STATE UNIVERSITY MOORHEAD has announced its Dean’s List for the 2013 Spring Semester. To qualify, students must earn a grade point average of 3.25 or higher and carry 12 graded credits. Local students recognized include: o Abbie Becker, Staples o Bristy Bourgoin, Pillager o Luke Grittner, Pillager o Erica Lehner, Motley o Kelli Roline, Verndale o Amanda Ruhl, Pillager

NORTH DAKOTA STATE UNIVERSITY, FARGO recently held its spring commencement ceremony. Local students who graduated include: o Travis Myers, Motley, Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice o Amanda Ruhl, Pillager, Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice o Alyssa Haglin, Staples, Bachelor of Science degree in human development and family science o Cydney Hasselberg, Bachelor of Science degree in human development and family science o Megan Weyer, Staples, Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. Weyer graduated with honors.

JAMESTOWN COLLEGE IN NORTH DAKOTA has accepted three 2013 Staples Motley High School graduates, all scheduled to begin classes this fall. They are: o Ashley Jenniges of Motley; daughter of Tony and Sheila Jenniges. o Mitchell Hagenson, Staples, son of David and Jody Hagenson o Trenton Hagenson, Staples, son of David and Jody Hagenson.
