Peaceful discussions

It fascinates me to see the concept of “freedom brings people together” receiving such a renewed focus of discussion recently. It’s intriguing to contemplate, again, that people can live together peacefully, engage in common pursuits with different folks in different endeavors, without forcing anyone to do, live, act and work as they do.

Almost 200 years ago Tocqueville came from France to observe the new American experiment in government and was amazed to find people getting together voluntarily to fix things that needed to be done. It’s great to see that spirit in the spotlight again.

That’s one reason why I’m supporting Ron Paul.
